I walked with feet
That tried to veil the fractured steps.
My body hid its tears. It was a suppressed cry.
It wanted life at any cost.
It brought me to the line of pain.

 

Background: everybody tried to seem healthier and stronger than reality. The line of pain- meaning the line condemned to life.
